Our skin needs a lot of care and moisture. Here you can find a recipe to make your own body butter with valuable ingredients:

Homemade body butter with shea butter, coconut oil, and vanilla

Ingredients:

  • 60 g shea butter
  • 30 g cocoa butter
  • 5 g beeswax
  • 20 g grape seed oil
  • 20 g coconut oil
  • a little vanilla oil
  • soap mold

Instructions:

Melt the ingredients in a pot, add the vanilla oil at the end and stir well. Pour the mixture into a soap mold and let it harden. Done.

Application:

Use the body butter to moisturize the skin.

Extra info:

  • Shea butter penetrates particularly well into the deepest layers of the skin and provides the skin cells with valuable nutrients. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, thanks to vitamin E it can inhibit the formation of wrinkles, has a skin-soothing effect, and improves the moisture balance.
  • Cocoa butter strengthens the skin's own elasticity and provides the skin with moisture and lipids. It is naturally particularly stable and has a long shelf life.
  • Beeswax is rich in vitamin A and supports the skin in cell regeneration. It helps to keep the skin firm and elastic, prevent wrinkles, and can also help against stretch marks.
  • Grape seed oil is suitable for every skin type; it provides the skin with moisture, soothes irritated skin, and regulates impure skin with its antibacterial effect.
  • Vanilla oil has a strong antioxidant and skin-smoothing effect
