For Carnival, things can definitely be nice and colorful. I love candles, so they always have to be part of a table decoration. For Carnival, I crafted lanterns with feathers and confetti with my daughter. Curious?
Making lanterns for Carnival

What you’ll need:
- empty, clean jars, e.g., from jam
- Confetti
- Feathers
- small, colorful pom-poms
- transparent Craft glue
- Paintbrush
- plastic tablecloth
- LED tea lights
Instructions:
First, spread out a base on the table; we have a plastic tablecloth specifically for crafting.
Brush the jars with the craft glue using a brush; we coated about 2/3 of the jar so that some glass is still visible.
Spread the confetti on the tablecloth and roll the jar with the glue in the confetti so that the confetti sticks to it. If there are any gaps, stick more confetti on with your fingers. Let it dry well.

Brush the upper rim of the jar with glue again and stick on the pom-poms as desired. Let everything dry well.
My daughter made the second jar the same way, just adding a few feathers on top of the confetti.
