Unfortunately, cloud slime gets hard even if it is well sealed. However, you don't have to throw it away, because there is a simple trick to make it usable again.
Cloud slime becomes soft again
Ingredients:
- hard cloud slime
- Container: either a plastic container or a cup – microwave-safe
- up to 1 tsp of water
- microwave
Instructions:
Place the hard cloud slime in a microwave-safe container; I left it in its plastic packaging, just without the lid. Then add 1 tsp of water.
Tip: If there is only a little cloud slime, add less water. For us, it was about half a container's worth that had hardened. I added 1 tsp of water.
Put the whole thing in the microwave; I left it at 800 W, but you can of course use less, and heat it for about 20 seconds.
Caution:Do not touch the cloud slime with your hands immediately, as the slime can get quite hot. It is better to test it with a spoon first. Depending on the consistency, the whole process can now be repeated. It worked for us and we were able to use the cloud slime again.
