As a child, I always loved eating semolina pudding. My mom always served it to us without egg and with chocolate shavings. I really loved that; I just love eating desserts so much. I've always made it that way for my children too, and now my daughter makes it herself; see for yourself how she does it:

Recipe for a simple semolina pudding without egg

Ingredients:

  • 50 g semolina
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • possibly fruit for topping
  • possibly cocoa or chocolate

Instructions:

Rinse a pot with cold water and add the milk. Bring the milk to a boil, then add the semolina, salt, and vanilla sugar, stirring well repeatedly until the semolina has become nice and soft and the sugar has dissolved. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes.

Caution:stir repeatedly, unfortunately the mixture burns very quickly.

Then remove the semolina pudding from the heat and serve on a plate.

As children, my mom always put chocolate shavings or cocoa on top.

Fruit also tastes very good with it: any kind of berries, or as my daughter does, with bananas and dates.

Color:Food coloring makes for wide eyes; my daughter, for example, colored her semolina pudding blue here.

Extra tip:if you like, you can also add some zest from an organic lemon, it tastes great.
