Ideas for a snack board – finger food

For a lovely evening with my girls, Lara and I wanted to prepare a few snacks. They should be easy to eat. Finger food or, as it is called now: a snack board. We got inspiration on the internet and designed our snack boards individually.

Designing a snack board – finger food – snacks for a party

My savory snack board:

Snack board – finger food – snacks – savory

What you need for this:

  • Many bowls in different sizes
  • a large serving tray or Cutting board
  • Sauces: Simple chive sauce, Guacamole, shrimp salad
  • Cheese: Camembert, Vorarlberg mountain cheese
  • Sausage: Salami
  • Vegetables: Olives, celery sticks, carrots, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, pickles
  • Fruit: Blueberries, apples
  • Bread: Pitas
  • Pistachios

Instructions:

Mix or pour the sauces into the larger bowls and position them on the tray. Cut the vegetables and cheese into bite-sized pieces. Cut the pitas into triangles and bake them in the oven for a few minutes until crispy.

Form the salami into a rose using a glass:

Arrange the remaining ingredients nicely on the tray.

My sweet snack board:

What you need for this:

  • Many bowls in different sizes
  • a large tray or board
  • 1 orange
  • Oatmeal cookies
  • Fortune cookies
  • Egg liqueur cake
  • Gingerbread dominoes
  • Apple
  • Fruit gummies

Instructions:

Cut the ingredients into bite-sized pieces. I put the oranges and the fruit gums in a bowl. I arranged the rest nicely on a serving platter.

What you need for this:

  • Sauces: Country cream cheese; peanut butter, Guacamole,
  • Cheese: Camembert, cheddar
  • Sausage: Salami
  • Vegetables: Carrots, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, pickles, sun-dried tomatoes
  • Fruit: Orange, apple
  • Bread: Pitas, protein waffles
  • Pistachios, peanuts
  • Chocolate
  • Oatmeal cookies
  • Sesame pretzels

Instructions:

Mix or pour the sauces into the larger bowls and position them on the tray. Cut the vegetables and cheese into bite-sized pieces. Cut the pitas into triangles and bake them in the oven for a few minutes until crispy.

Arrange the remaining ingredients nicely on the tray. We added the pretzels and pitas in a separate bowl because the tray was already full.

Conclusion on a snack board

A snack board is really great for snacks and finger food for a TV night or when friends come over to chat. It is easy to arrange, can be prepared well in advance, and definitely looks very good.
