Especially with teenagers, it is becoming increasingly difficult to give a gift. Many of them usually want money so they can choose something for themselves. For girls, I received a really great money gift for my daughter from a dear friend. The banknotes were folded into a skirt and glued onto a lady in a card. It looks really great:
Shopping money gift – folding banknotes into a skirt
What you’ll need:
- A4 paper
- Printer – or draw it yourself
- 3 banknotes
- pretty string
- Tixo
Instructions:
Take a piece of A4 paper and fold it in half crosswise to make a card. My friend printed out a lady here. If you don't have a printer, you can also draw one or use a sticker. Just be careful, it has to fit the size of the banknotes (although there are also mini dresses that you can fold).
Then fold the 3 banknotes:
Place the banknote in front of you and fold the upper right side downward:
Then fold the entire upper half downward so that a point is formed:
Now turn the banknote over and one part of your money skirt is finished:
Repeat this process 2 more times.
Now stick the 3 banknotes onto the drawn or printed lady using a small roll of adhesive tape. Make a bow with the string and stick it to the top at the lady's waist, also using a small roll of adhesive tape:
I think this card looks great, and it really wasn’t hard to make. Most importantly, you don’t need to buy lots of elaborate supplies. My daughter was very happy, and I can highly recommend this craft project.
