Amazon already has some really great and affordable costumes. If you don’t want to spend any money, simply take a white blouse, a black or red short circle skirt, a large belt or, if you have one, a black lace-up corset, fishnet stockings, and a scarf that you can tie around your head. Add some gold jewelry and the outfit is complete. A short white dress with red scarves as a belt and headscarf also looks great.
Makeup:
A female pirate also needs proper makeup; smokey eyes with lots of kohl and red lipstick are perfect. These are my tools for the pirate makeup:
- Makeup headband
- Black kohl pencil
- Black mascara
- Makeup for the foundation
- Dark eyeshadow
- Lipstick, red
- Brush, narrow and wide
- Makeup sponge

There are also really great costumes for men available to buy online. If you don’t want to spend anything, simply take a loose white shirt, black trousers, a red scarf as a belt, and a scarf as a headscarf. If you like, you can also outline your eyes with black kohl; it looks super seductive.
For us, this was a really great costume; I felt super comfortable in mine, except that the long, wide sleeves are a little annoying. I’m already looking forward to next year!
