Once again, the question was what to cook, and coincidentally, my dear friend mentioned she was making baked cauliflower, which is quick and super easy. Well, those were two good arguments for why I wanted to try it. After a quick search, I had already found a recipe, and here is my result:
Recipe for creamy cheese and whipped cream sauce
Ingredients:
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
- 2 tbsp cream cheese, plain
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 50 g peas
- possibly 1 tbsp sprouts
- Pasta, noodles of your choice
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a pot, press the garlic finely using a garlic press, and sauté slightly in the butter. Then add the heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan and bring to a boil once. Now add the peas and let them cook briefly. Season the whole thing to taste.
Cook the pasta al dente according to the package instructions, drain well, and mix well with the sauce. I used a few home-grown sprouts as a topping.
