We threw another carnival party this year – I love parties and carnival, so it was an obvious choice. By now, our friends dress up magnificently, often even in couple costumes, so I really have to make an effort. This year, I fulfilled a dream: I've always wanted to go as Princess Leia. The costume is simple and quick to finish, although the hair with the buns wasn't quite that easy and my daughter had to help me. I felt very comfortable in the costume and the question even came up, why not wear this hairstyle in everyday life?
Leia costume from Star Wars
What you’ll need:
- Leia Star Wars dress
- 2 medium-sized bun rings for hair, 9.5 cm
- 1 pistol
- Makeup
For the costume, I bought a dress at a carnival shop: Princess Leia from Star Wars. As accessories, I also bought a pistol (for simplicity's sake, I took it from my son, even with a Star Wars emblem!) and 2 bun rings.
For the hairstyle, part the long hair and let it fall over the bun rings, secure with bobby pins.
I also put on a little makeup: black kohl around the eyes, mascara, and red lipstick.
Great costume – I liked it very much!
