We wanted to have catering and drinks delivered for our milestone birthday party. We had invited quite a few guests and I didn't want to do everything myself. But who is there here in the Gänserndorf district who is also good? Through recommendations, I received a fine list of good caterers and beverage suppliers, which I would like to pass on to you:
My recommendations for catering in the Gänserndorf district
For me, food is always very important at a celebration; anyone who knows me knows that there must always be enough (otherwise we'll order a pizza!) and it should taste good on top of that. For our birthday party, I researched caterers in the Gänserndorf district and have listed my experiences for you here:
Catering Karin Furch – Stillfried
For our celebration, I was recommended catering from Karin Furch from Stillfried several times. After an inquiry by email, I had a very appealing proposal for our catering in my inbox shortly thereafter. The selection of food and the price all fit well, so we were able to decide on Karin Furch quite quickly. We only wanted finger food and that savory, but there would have been good sweet things too, only we made those ourselves. We then had the following selection of finger food at our party:
- Mini cheeseburgers,
- Mini veggie burgers,
- open-faced sandwiches (meat & vegetarian),
- party croissants with raw ham and parmesan,
- party croissants with ham, cheese, and egg,
- party croissants with camembert and cranberries,
- fried chicken skewers,
- meatball skewers,
- ciabatta with smoked salmon and egg,
- tramezzini with arugula and egg,
- wraps with ham, cheese, and egg,
- wraps with tuna and corn,
- wraps with tomato and mozzarella
Communication with Karin Furch was very uncomplicated; we had made a deposit a few weeks beforehand, and I could have made changes up to 2 weeks before. Shortly before the celebration, the remaining amount was paid. The finger food was delivered very punctually on the day of the celebration in practical and beautiful disposable boxes, which we could simply set up on our buffet tables (see photos).
In terms of quantity, I left it to Karin Furch, as I had no estimate at all. We only let her know our number of people 2 weeks beforehand and she estimated it perfectly; we had more than enough and the finger food was really good. The items were really lovingly arranged and fresh. I received nothing but compliments from all sides about the good food. I can warmly recommend Karin Furch.

Catering Eduard Kraft – Velm Götzendorf
As another caterer in the Gänserndorf district, I was recommended the family business Eduard Kraft from Velm Götzendorf. On his website, you can find suggestions for buffets, beer for self-tapping (in an 8-liter keg), and of course finger food (sweet and savory). For our party, I requested an offer online and was offered the following dishes.
- Bites (from grain or white baguette with salmon, ham, raw ham, Gouda, egg spread, tuna spread, Liptauer, salami, feta-pesto)
- Mini schnitzel roll
- Mini veggie burger
- Crepe with raw ham and arugula in a small glass
- Tomato-mozzarella skewers in a small glass
- Puff pastry pockets with garlic dip in a small glass
- Meatballs with cocktail sauce in a small glass
The communication was also very uncomplicated; we would have had a free hand here as well regarding what good things we wanted to have at our celebration. Furthermore, Mr. Kraft would have had high tables and also plates for our celebration. The offer was very good in terms of price and selection, and the decision was difficult for us. He was definitely on the shortlist and I kept his contact details.

My recommendations for beverage deliveries in the Gänserndorf district
Marchfelder Storchenbräu – Untersiebenbrunn
For our drinks, we took advantage of the recommendation of the hunters of Gänserndorf; they use Marchfelder Storchenbräu for every celebration, and after our celebration, I know why. After a personal visit to Storchenbräu in Untersiebenbrunn, we were able to convince ourselves of the good service, friendliness, and simplicity, and booked on that day as well. Ms. Susanne Vodera put the drinks together perfectly for us – also in terms of quantities, since we had no idea what and how much. This was our selection:
- Märzen in a keg

In addition to the good drinks, we borrowed the refrigerated trailer (which is super practical!), a freezer, beer and soda in a keg with a tapping system, as well as glasses and jugs. The delivery took place punctually on the day of the party. Since we were unsure whether the glasses would be enough, my son and I called Untersiebenbrunn on the day of the party and were able to borrow lemonade glasses quite easily. I can really warmly recommend Marchfelder Storchenbräu; everything was perfect here!

We could simply put the empties into the refrigerated trailer, that was offset, and we received the total cost invoice a few days after the party, quite conveniently by email.

Conclusion
I am thrilled, it is really fun to plan an event with these companies, it is uncomplicated, you simply say what you want and the professionals plan the quantities perfectly and also take care of the delivery. This makes planning a party fun! I can highly recommend these companies and can only say, dare to plan an event!
