Vases are very decorative and practical for flowers. Unfortunately, they are a bit delicate to store, making them prone to small cracks and scratches. However, you don't always have to part with your favorite vase right away. Below you will find tips on how to seal a thin crack with household remedies:
Seal a thin crack in the vase
Candle wax
To seal a thin crack in the vase, you need candle wax. To do this, light the candle and let the liquid wax drip onto the cracked areas on the inside of the vase. Let the wax harden and the vase can be used again.
Nail polish
If the cracks are very fine and small, clear nail polish can also be applied to the areas, which will also keep the vase watertight.
