Here are a few tips so you don't have to scrape ice for so long:

  • Park the car in a covered parking space
  • Cover the windshield: with special thermal mats or a simple blanket or cardboard
  • Put old socks over the side mirrors of the car overnight
  • Hang up moisture-absorbing bags inside
  • Do not leave wet items like floor mats in the car overnight, as this can cause the windows to ice up from the inside
  • Place a hot water bottle on the dashboard behind the windshield
  • When buying a car, look for heated front and rear windows

Extra tip:Do not let the car warm up while idling; this not only disturbs the environment, but it is also not good for the car!
