Cucumber for a cucumber mask for a delicate complexion

The cucumber not only tastes good in a salad, it also has important properties for beauty. Due to its high moisture content and vitamins C and A, it revitalizes the face. Cucumbers also contain enzymes that promote skin renewal. If you don't want to reach for chemical face masks right away, you can try a cucumber mask with curd cheese; it makes the skin just as soft:

Cucumber for a soft complexion

If you need something quick, this tip helps for a soft complexion:

What you’ll need:

  • Cucumber slices

Instructions:

Cut the cucumber into slices and place them on your face for a few minutes. This vegetable has an astringent effect on the pores.

Cucumber mask with curd cheese

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tbsp quark

Instructions:

Puree the cucumber with a blender and add the curd cheese, mix everything well. Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the eyes, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water.

If you tend to have oily skin, add low-fat curd cheese; for dry skin, use cream curd.

Extra tip: The cucumber mask can bleach freckles and pigment spots and makes the skin very soft.
