Do you have leftover clay pots but no more plants? Don't throw them away just yet; they can be wonderfully repurposed. Here is a tip for making clay pot candles.
Recycling: Reusing clay pots as candles
What is needed
- Candles (or just wax remnants)
- wide candle wick
- 2 skewers
- hot glue
Instructions for the clay pot candles:
Melt the candle wax remnants in a water bath until liquid. Glue the candle wick to the bottom of the pot with hot glue and place the 2 skewers centrally over the pot so that the wick can be clamped between them. Now carefully pour in the wax and let it harden. You can, of course, decorate the pot as you like, for example with paint, ribbons, artificial flowers, or decoupage.
