Anyone with small children can sing a song about beautiful orange pumpkin and carrot stains. Unfortunately, after a successful "feeding," you find them not only on the bibs, but also on mom's sweater or jeans.
You should react quickly here; once the stain has dried, it becomes increasingly difficult to remove. It's a good thing there is a very good (and simple!) home remedy for this – at least when the sun is shining.
Remove pumpkin stains and carrot stains from bibs
Cleaning the bib
First, you should remove the coarse stains from the bib. It is best to rinse the entire bib with cold water. It is even better, of course, if you put it in the washing machine first and only then place it in the sun.
I must admit, with twins, I don't always get to wash things right away, so I have tried both, and both work.
Removing stains with the help of the sun
Now simply place it in the sun, whether on the balcony or terrace. I have attached photos of one of my children's bibs here, where you can follow how the stain disappears.
By the way, I now always put the bibs in the sun, not just for carrot or pumpkin stains.

Summary
You don't have to treat every stain with chemicals right away – as you can see with carrot stains, nature helps us solve this little cleaning problem. The disadvantage, of course, is that the entire garment can fade a little.
