A baptism is a big moment for parents and relatives. Therefore, the subsequent table should also be beautifully decorated so that you can continue to celebrate together comfortably afterwards. Here are a few suggestions for this:
Table decoration for the baptism table
I would suggest this decoration in traditional pink for girls or blue for boys, but of course you can also choose more neutral colors such as green, orange, or yellow.
What you’ll need:
- white tablecloth
- white dishes
- Table runners in pink or blue
- Napkins in pink or blue or white napkins and ribbons in pink or blue
- Long-stemmed white candles
- Candle skirt made of bows, pearls, ivy, boxwood wreaths, and much more.
- Pictures of the baby being baptized
- Picture frame
- Small scatter items: plastic pacifiers, plastic crosses, angels, baby shoes (knitted or plastic), dew drops, boxwood hearts, or storks
The table
The tablecloth is kept in white, so there is a nice contrast to the colorful decorations. Colored table runners look very good on festive tables and can run across the table in the desired color.
Dishes and napkins
The tableware is kept in white. The napkins can either be taken in the desired color, or in white, then they are tied together with colored ribbons.

Decoration of the table
It is very original if you create small baby photos of the person being baptized and distribute them in small frames all over the table. A small timeline can also be created here by placing the very young pictures of the person being baptized at one end and the most recent ones at the end of the table.
