Physalis/Chinese lantern flower for decoration

Flowers are a cheerful decoration for rooms. Why not decorate vases or flower pots with flowers too? Here I have a pretty idea for autumn:

Homemade flower garland for pots and vases

What is needed

  • Vases, flower pots, etc.
  • Physalis (also known as Chinese lantern)
  • thin needle
  • thin silver wire

Instructions

Carefully pierce 2 holes on opposite sides of the Chinese lantern with the needle. Thread the flowers onto the silver wire and tie the ends tightly. If you want spaces between the flowers, tie a knot in the wire before and after each Chinese lantern before threading the next flower. Now this garland can be wrapped around vases or flower pots; tie the ends of the wire together very tightly so that it holds.
