In the video for the 29th week of pregnancy on meinhaushalt.at important information and tips for pregnancy in week 29 are presented.
In the 29th week of your Pregnancy pregnancy, the fetus is now 26 weeks old, has a total length of just under 34cm, and weighs an impressive 1200g. The lungs are constantly developing so that everything is prepared for the day of birth. A fair amount of fat is also being stored so that the child is fit for life in the world and does not have to freeze. Furthermore, the child regularly practices drinking and takes a sip of amniotic fluid every now and then. It can happen that your baby gets the hiccups, which is a funny feeling for you. The belly jerks with every hiccup. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do for your protégé at this moment – but these hiccups will also disappear on their own.
The 8th month of pregnancy
Since you are now in the eighth month of pregnancy, your belly is becoming rounder and the child is visibly growing, the stomach and other organs are also being displaced as the child inevitably makes room for itself. This often leads to heartburn, constipation, back pain, and increased urge to urinate. Although there is no cure for these complaints, you can alleviate them as best as possible with a few tricks.
Heartburn
For heartburn, it is recommended to avoid alcohol, coffee, and especially carbonated drinks, as well as strong spices, cigarettes, and fatty foods. If the stomach acid still cannot be held back, a glass of milk helps to neutralize the acid.
Another tip: it is better to eat several small meals a day instead of sticking to the usual three portions. This reduces the risk of acidic gastric juice flowing back into the esophagus and you will have fewer complaints.
Constipation
Constipation is also a tiresome topic among pregnant women. Especially in the last third of a Pregnancy pregnancy, it can annoyingly occur. Although constipation is probably one of the harmless side effects, it is still very unpleasant. Due to hormonal changes, bowel activity is restricted, more fluid is withdrawn from the stool, and the result is constipation. Laxatives are taboo in any case, unless your doctor advises you to take a medication.
However, there are small suggestions to remedy annoying constipation: drink at least two to three liters per day. Water, unsweetened juices, and herbal teas are best for this. A balanced and, above all, fiber-rich diet is also very crucial for proper digestion. A portion of muesli, for example, can help you with agonizing digestion. In addition to muesli, fruit, vegetables, whole grain bread, dried plums, figs, or milk sugar in juice or yogurt have also proven effective. If you add a little exercise and light sports, constipation will no longer have a chance with you.
Back pain
Unfortunately, back pain cannot be conjured away either. Due to the growing weight of your child, you will have to deal with tiresome pain in the back area more often during pregnancy. However, by wearing comfortable shoes, avoiding carrying or transporting heavy things, and doing targeted gymnastics, you can successfully counteract back pain. Swimming or physiotherapy as well as a warm bath or a relaxing back massage are also real aids. Under no circumstances should you take any pain-relieving medication during pregnancy, but only preparations that your doctor recommends and prescribes. For everything else, natural solutions must be found so that your child in the womb does not suffer any harm.
