Anyone who has been or is currently pregnant can sing a song about expensive maternity fashion. Your old pants no longer button up, but there is no money in the household budget for new clothes, or you simply don't want to buy new clothes that you will only be able to wear for a few months anyway. Here is a trick so you don't have to buy extra maternity pants.

Make your own maternity pants

What you’ll need:

  • Hair ties

Instructions:

Put on your "normal" pants as usual. Take a hair tie or another rubber band and pull it through the buttonhole. Now pull one end of the hair tie through the other end. Now you can loop the free end around the pants button. It is best to wear a longer sweater or a long T-shirt that covers the half-open pants.

And your maternity pants for zero euros are ready.
