Simply place the item of clothing in a plastic bag overnight in the freezer compartment. After that, the chewing gum can be removed easily. If a stain remains, wash the item of clothing.
Remove chewing gum from the carpet
If chewing gum has landed on the carpet, immediately place an ice cube or a cool pack on it and let it harden. Then scrape off as much as possible. If there are still residues on the carpet, rub them away with turpentine substitute or rubbing alcohol.
If you don't have an ice cube on hand, you can also soak the chewing gum with vinegar; this will also make it come off.
