Eyeshadow is a popular item among women – but unfortunately, it often costs a lot of money. Especially the most beautiful shades are offered by market-leading manufacturers at horrendous prices. But in the future, you can save money and make your own makeup.
For this, some products from the pharmacy are necessary – however, if you add up the sum of the individual items, you get several eyeshadows at a much cheaper price. For the homemade eyeshadow, we need:
Make your own eyeshadow
What you’ll need:
- 8g talcum
- 2g titanium dioxide
- 5g magnesium stearate
- 3g pigments
- 2g jojoba oil
- 1 drop of lemon oil
Instructions:
A kitchen scale is also helpful, and color pigments and glitter materials are available at craft stores. The talcum is mixed with the titanium dioxide and magnesium stearate – a small empty jar or a shaker can be useful for this. It is better to be careful with the color pigments and glitter particles at first; adding more is always possible later. Finally, the jojoba oil and the drop of lemon oil are added so that the eyeshadow can adhere well. In total, the utensils cost no more than €10 and can be transformed into different shades with practice and skill. Have fun experimenting.
