You don't need much to decorate your cake with truly professional chocolate waves. With these instructions, you can create eye-catching chocolate waves and skillfully showcase desserts:
Chocolate waves as decoration for cakes or desserts
What you’ll need:
- 100 g couverture chocolate
- Parchment paper
- 2 rolls (e.g., aluminum foil or cling film rolls)
- possibly Cake comb
Melt the couverture as usual and spread it smoothly on the parchment paper. If you like, you can draw beautiful lines with a cake comb. Then place the parchment paper over the 2 rolls (distance between the rolls depends on the wave size!) and chill for about 2 hours so that the chocolate becomes firm. Then carefully cut off the waves with a knife according to the desired size and place them on the cake. It's a real eye-catcher.
