Balloons

For the dark season, I always really like Lanterns, because they create such a beautiful atmosphere. Here is a tip on how to create your own unique piece using balloons and tissue paper.

Crafting instructions for lanterns made of balloons and tissue paper

What you’ll need:

A few utensils are needed for crafting, which may need to be purchased beforehand:

Instructions:

Inflate the balloons to the desired size of the lanterns and tie them securely. Mix the wallpaper paste and apply it to the balloons with a brush. Stick a layer of tissue paper onto the paste, then another layer of paste, and now distribute the leaves on the balloon. Apply another layer of paste and tissue paper; you can repeat this if necessary. Let the ends of the paper protrude a little at the top of the balloon so that you can let it dry by tying it to another object (e.g., a bottle).

Once the paste has dried, cut off the top edge of the balloon according to the desired height of the lantern and carefully remove the balloon from the inside. Now you just need to place the tea light inside and your self-designed lantern is finished.
