Which driver doesn't know this? Hardly have you driven a few kilometers in summer, and the front of the car is covered in dead flies and other insects. This fly dirt is very stubborn and difficult to remove. If you want to save money on expensive special cleaners and even avoid chemicals entirely, do the following:
Newspaper against fly dirt on the car
Place newspaper on the dirty areas of the car and moisten it with clear water, e.g., with a sponge or a spray bottle. Let the damp paper stick to the car for about 20 minutes. It will soften the dirt. Then remove the newspaper. Now the insect residues can be removed quite easily by rubbing lightly with a nylon stocking. This saves money and is environmentally friendly!

Baking soda against insect marks on the car windshield
A drive on the highway and the windshield is just covered in insect marks. Car window cleaners don't help much there. But if you sprinkle some Baking soda on a damp cloth or sponge, these marks can be easily removed. Then rinse with clear water.
