Every woman who wears makeup knows this. You come home dog-tired in the evening and just want to go to bed. But even if you don't feel like taking off your makeup in the evening, it is very important to do so:
Always remove makeup in the evening
By always removing your makeup in the evening, premature wrinkle formation is prevented and clogged pores are inhibited. Mascara in particular should be removed, as the eyelashes could break off. You can find numerous makeup removal products in supermarkets and drugstores. However, by no means are all of them recommended.
Cosmetic pads for removing make-up
It is recommended to use cotton pads for removing makeup. There is already a lot of choice when it comes to cleansing creams and liquids. There is almost a product for every part of the face: eye makeup remover, mascara remover, etc. It is best to test here what you like best or what your skin tolerates best.
Basic elements for removing makeup
What you’ll need:
- Cotton pads
- Cleansing milk
- possibly eye makeup remover for waterproof eye makeup
- facial toner
- possibly night cream
Instructions:
Basically, you can say that a lot of makeup can be removed with a cleansing milk and a cotton pad. Anyone who uses waterproof mascara can use an eye makeup remover for waterproof makeup. Use one cotton pad per eye with the makeup remover and remove the eyeshadow, eyeliner, or mascara. Then apply a clarifying facial toner with a cotton pad. Finally, the night cream can now be applied overnight so that the skin can regain the necessary moisture during the night.
If you do forget to remove your makeup the night before, quickly remove the makeup in the morning and take proper care of your skin that day. Perhaps with a face mask or a good day cream.
Extra tip: If you haven't packed any makeup remover at all, Nivea cream also helps with removing makeup.
