Dog training is not always easy. Here is a little trick to get your pet to come to you when called in no time at all.
Practicing commands effectively with your dog
Go to an undisturbed place outdoors with your animal and it is best to keep your dog on a long leash. First, let him walk around in peace. Then give him a command, e.g., "Come here". If the dog does not react, repeat the command and give the leash a short, sharp tug, but please do not be too rough. When the dog comes to you now, give him a treat as a reward; this can also simply be a piece of dry food. Also, praise him extensively. It is important that you only reward the dog if he comes to you immediately after the command or the additional tug on the leash.
If you repeat this exercise about 20 times a day, your dog will listen to this important command within about two weeks. However, please be patient with your dog and remember that your dog is not a human who speaks your language, but can only learn commands through your correct implementation.
