Raw carrots offer an inexpensive alternative. Wash and peel the carrot and cut it into generous strips, depending on the size of the dog. However, the carrots should not be cut too small so that the dog still has enough to chew on, which is ultimately the point.

By chewing on the carrot, the dog automatically cleans its teeth and gets healthy food from the vegetable. However, do not give him too many carrots, as your dog may otherwise get a stomachache.
