So that the Paintbrush does not dry out, if you just want to take a break from painting, here is a tip:

Brush does not dry out

If you just want to take a short break from painting, simply wrap it in a little Plastic wrap. This keeps it nice and soft.

If you decide not to continue working on the same day, place the brush wrapped in cling film in the freezer. The next day, the brush will take about an hour to thaw, then you can continue.

Proper brush care

To ensure you continue to enjoy your brushes, wash water-soluble paint out of the brush with water. Wash acrylic paint out immediately with water while it is still wet. If this paint has dried in the brush, you will unfortunately need a special cleaner to clean the brush. For oil paints, first wipe the paint thoroughly off the brush with a rag and only then clean it with a moisturizing soap made from vegetable oils and warm water until the soap lathers. Under no circumstances use a degreasing soap, as natural hair in particular tends to break if the protective layer of oil is missing. When washing out, always rub the brush well, then wipe it out with a fine cloth and shape it. Let the brush dry well, but not on the heater!
