Who doesn't love summer? The warm sun, the blooming trees and flowers, the scent of freshness in the air, and then the delicate tan that our skin gets from sunbathing. How we would love to keep our summer tan, but it usually disappears within the first few days of autumn. Anyone who is unhappy with their pale skin in winter doesn't have to resort to self-tanner or even a tanning bed. There is also a natural and healthy method to tint your own skin tone slightly in the long term.

How can I prolong my tan?

Why does the tan disappear so quickly? This is because our skin regenerates every 28 days and the top layer of skin is renewed. This is how the summer tan gradually fades and pale skin takes over. However, that doesn't have to be the case:

Tan through carrots

Eat carrots every day! Thanks to the carotene in the carrots, your skin will automatically and gradually change from pale to summer-fresh. A pleasant side effect is that the vitamin A contained in carrots is very healthy for the eyes. So you are not only doing something for your appearance, but also for your health.

Tip: It is best to eat organic carrots. They are free from pesticides and insecticides (at least they should be).

Carrot juice prolongs holiday tan

By drinking plenty of carrot juice, the carotene has a positive effect on our complexion and the skin appears more radiant. However, those who shy away from the drink can either mix it half-and-half with apple juice or take special carrot capsules, which promise an equally successful effect.

For those who don't like carrots, or are even allergic: here you can find buy cheap self-tanner*.
