Anyone organizing a children's party should always choose a game that tests dexterity. One example of this is the 'straw relay' game. All you need are straws equal to the number of children and 2 pieces of tissue paper.
Game for children's party: Straw relay
What you’ll need:
- 2 Straws
- 2 small pieces Tissue paper
Instructions:
The children are divided into 2 teams of equal size (and strength). Each child gets a straw, and one child per team gets a piece of tissue paper. The children must stand in a row next to each other with a distance of about half a meter. The first child gets the tissue paper. On the command 'Go', the 1st child must suck the tissue paper onto the straw and pass it to the next child – naturally WITHOUT using their hands.
The 2nd child must also suck hard enough with their straw so that the tissue paper sticks to it as well. If the paper falls down, you have to start all over again. The winner is, of course, the team whose tissue paper reaches the last child. You can hand out small prizes as a reward.
