Bathing and splashing around is the greatest fun for small children. To ensure the bath is a success, the right bath toys are important. Unfortunately, not every toy from the playroom is suitable for the bathtub, and so that there are no tears after the bath, parents should ensure they have the optimal bath toys in advance.
The best bath toys for children
Bath animals for children to bathe with
Funny bath animals are particularly popular and sought after – the classic rubber duck is, of course, a must. But frogs, dolphins, whales, or fish are also a great joy for toddlers – this way, they learn about colors and shapes, among other things, and can incidentally splash their parents from head to toe.
To ensure the fun lasts a long time, it is important to make sure when buying bath toys that the bath animals are child-friendly, robust, and, above all, free of harmful substances.
As children get older, water-squirting animals or other squirting toys are in high demand.
Nets or fishing rods for children
Varied games with nets connected by a handle are a good alternative. With these nets, children can fish for small fish or other objects out of the water and thus skillfully train their motor skills. There are also fishing rods with magnets, where children have to fish animals out of the bathwater.
Boats and ships for children to play with
For little boys, on the other hand, there is probably nothing better than boats and ships – if these are also equipped with functions, little children's eyes light up beyond measure.
Cups and jugs for bathing with children
A nice game for children involves cups and jugs and is a must. This way, children can mix and serve drinks. With bubble baths, they can even serve dad a 'beer'. Ours really enjoyed playing with all kinds of containers in the water. Sometimes it's the simple things that are fun!
