Especially at Easter, you want to delight the little ones with colorful and original things: when nature around us awakens, people can no longer be held back. So how about showing up at Easter with a colorful woven Easter basket that you made yourself?
Crafting instructions for simple Easter baskets

Instructions
You don't need much for this, and your child will love the craft. For the Easter baskets, you simply need yellow or orange construction paper. Draw a 16x8cm rectangle in the middle. This will be the base. The side parts are also drawn as rectangles with a length of 4cm. Now, use a set square to sketch 1cm wide strips onto these rectangles.
Now your child can use small children's scissors to cut the necessary strips down to the base, which create the weaving effect of this Easter basket. For this, you can use, for example, red or green colored paper, which is cut into two 1cm wide strips each with a length of 52cm. Now fold the side parts of the basket upwards at a right angle using scissors. The child can now weave the first red strips between the "fringed sides". The beginning and end of the strip are fixed with a little glue. Now the second colored paper strip is placed offset on top, so that a woven pattern is created between the individual strips. Here, too, the ends are finally fixed with glue.
Finally, the protruding side strips are simply folded inwards and a handle is added to the basket – with some green grass and little sweet surprises for the children, an Easter basket is quickly finished.
Extra quick version:The basket is even easier to make if you simply cut a rectangle out of the colored construction paper and make a cut with scissors on both sides as you would for a cardboard box, so that you can fold the cardboard into a box. If you like, you can also cut out a 'handle' for the basket. Now glue or fold the cardboard into a basket. Attach the handle and the basket can be beautifully decorated. Nice things to stick on are suitable here, such as feathers, glitter, etc. The child can also paint the basket colorfully or stick self-painted egg-shaped paper cutouts onto it. Finally, just fill the basket with grass and sweets and Easter can come.
