Sometimes I think mothers are born to be pack mules. To ensure the children get the necessary exercise in the fresh air, the pleasant is combined with the useful, and a walk in the fresh air is combined with running necessary errands. And so, you set off with two children 2 years apart, with an infant in a baby carrier and a toddler in a buggy, the shopping partially stowed in the basket of the shopper buggy, partially stacked adventurously on the roof of the same. At some point, the realization hits: this isn't working. But since a two-year-old doesn't have much stamina for walking yet and you don't want to make unnecessary trips, and perhaps don't always have a car available, another solution is needed eventually.

And there it is: the Buggy Board Maxi by Lascal
Due to the hefty price of around EUR 75.00, I thought for a long time about whether I should afford this purchase. But none were available second-hand. So, at some point, I went for it and haven't regretted the investment. The Maxi by Lascal fits almost all common stroller brands. It is not attached to the crossbar via a click system like the well-known “Kiddy Board”, but has two arms for attachment. This means it fits both strollers and buggies with crossbars and X-frames. These arms are adjustable in length. The mounts are also infinitely adjustable up to a frame circumference of 20 cm and fit frames with round, square, as well as oval diameters.
It is easy to assemble, quick to click off, and easy to fold up when not in use. The large wheels certainly allow for an excursion into the terrain. Gravel and forest roads are no problem. It only struggles in fresh snow, but in those conditions, the buggy itself is unusable anyway.
However, the greatest advantage for me was the universal fit, as we used a stroller with an oval diameter and crossbar, and later a buggy with a square diameter and X-frame.
How wonderfully easy one can make it for oneself! From then on, the little one was accommodated in the stroller during these expeditions, the older one could rest on the board when she got tired, and I additionally had my back free for a backpack. This way, I could get more errands done at once.
My daughter also quickly learned to stand on the Buggy Board and enjoyed it; even her friends without younger siblings always wanted to be driven around on the Buggy Board. For me, it was ultimately an investment that was definitely worth it, and I can only recommend it to every mother with two small children!

Great – I was just looking into these ride-on boards and would like to get such a fancy thing soon so that my son doesn't always have to trot along next to the stroller when our little daughter is being carted around.
