Bathing is great fun for young and old. To ensure everything goes smoothly and without stress, I have put together a list here that I always go through when bathing our babies. This way, I don't have to keep running to the nursery and have everything ready:
Checklist for Bathing with Baby
I always prepare these things:
- Changing mat
- Hooded towels or towels (always a spare towel, because with small children without a diaper, accidents can happen)
- 2 diapers per baby
- Wet wipes
- Clothing (pajamas, bodysuit)
- Pacifier (our two always get terribly upset when getting dressed and undressed, and it works wonderfully with a pacifier)
- Care products (powder, cream, care oil, shampoo, bath additive)
- Toys for the bathtub
- Cup to remove shampoo from the hair, in case you don't want to rinse the shampoo out with the shower head, but rather more gently.
Bathing with twins
For bathing with twins, the following things are added:
- 2 baby bouncers (so the children don't crawl around in the wet bathroom)
- Toys for outside the bathtub
I hope this list helps with bathing your baby(ies). Please leave a comment if something is missing or if you have had other experiences.
