The days are getting longer, it's getting warmer, and a look in the closet reveals that the beautiful summer dress from last year is just too tight. It's high time to tackle the winter weight, time for fitness in spring!
How do I get fit for spring?
Actually quite simple, with exercise. The beautiful weather and the longer evenings practically invite you to get off the sofa and move a little. Whether in the fresh air, at the gym, or at home is purely a matter of taste.
Which sports are ideal?
To see quick success, it is advisable to do a mix of endurance and strength sports. Endurance sports burn calories and fat, and strength training builds muscle and wonderfully defines certain parts of the body.
What does the training look like?
About 1 to 2 times per week one should do endurance sports. Jogging, swimming, cycling, exercise bike, treadmill... anything that really gets you out of breath is ideal here. It should definitely be fun, so choose a sport that you like.
In addition, there is about 1 to 2 times per week the Strength training. Dumbbell exercises, equipment training... here again, whatever is fun is good. With strength training, however, you should first have a conversation with your doctor; especially with back problems, a lot can be done wrong here. That's why training at the gym is not bad for the beginning. Here you are observed and corrected immediately if exercises are performed incorrectly. However, not all gyms do this, so you should inquire before signing up.
If you also change your diet a little now and eat a low-fat and low-calorie diet, then you will make it to the bikini figure by summer. The most important thing is simply movement. Besides, it is also healthy and good for the body. Most people have little movement anyway. You sit in the office all day and then on the sofa in the evening. Back pain is usually the result. Sport usually provides a remedy here; a strong, trained back does not hurt as quickly as one that is untrained.Â
