Reasons for a baby blanket
Finally, when the sun is shining and it's warmer, you want to go to the garden or park with your children. So that the children aren't just sitting on the grass, or in the morning when it's still a little damp, I want to spread out a baby blanket. But it shouldn't just be an ordinary blanket; it should be nice and soft on one side so that you can sit or lie on it comfortably. The underside should be dirt and moisture-repellent.
With my twins, I need a larger blanket just for them, and if the grandparents or dad come along, they should also have enough space to sit comfortably. Oh yes, and of course, it shouldn't cost too much.

My first attempt was to look on Amazon, where I searched with Crawling mat and quickly switched to the term 'Picnic blanket'. Interestingly, crawling blankets are much more expensive, even though they have similar features to picnic blankets. Unfortunately, they are much too small for my purposes.
Finally a large baby blanket
I finally found what I was looking for: I found my baby blanket at Eduscho. It's called a picnic blanket, but it's super soft and really big. So not only do my twins have plenty of room to crawl around, but grandparents can also sit down comfortably. So it pays to look at discounters. Hofer also had a picnic blanket for a short time, a little smaller than the one at Eduscho, but also cheaper. Now summer can finally begin!
