Moisture in the house can also make cupboards damp. You have to act quickly so that nothing starts to mold. Here are a few tips for getting rid of moisture using household remedies:
Dry out wall cabinets
Charcoal
Damp wall cupboards can be dried with pieces of charcoal. Fill the pieces of charcoal into a container (e.g., an old coffee tin), poke a few holes in the lid, and place it on the floor. For larger cupboards, it is recommended to set up several containers.
Chalk
The moisture can also be driven out with chalk. Tie at least 12 pieces of chalk together and hang them up.
Extra tips: These tips work not only in the cupboard, they can also be used in rooms (e.g., basements!).
