The Bathroom or the Kitchen smell unpleasant and you don't want to constantly use a room spray? Natural household remedies can help to conjure up a wonderful scent here:

Quickly remove bad odors in the house

Match

In Bathroom odors can be removed very quickly with a match. Light it and blow it out; the sulfur smell neutralizes unpleasant odors immediately. This is also one reason why you find matches in the bathroom in many hotels.

coffee beans

In the Kitchen help coffee beans. Briefly place on the hot stove plate and wait until the coffee scent fills the kitchen. If the refrigerator or kitchen cabinet smells unpleasant, it is enough to place a bowl of coffee powder inside.

Attention: Do not sprinkle coffee powder on the hot stove plate; it will burn in and also make a mess when cleaning up. Please really use coffee beans here.

Coffee grounds

If coffee is still made with a coffee filter, don't just throw away the coffee grounds afterwards. These can remove bad odors at home. Simply place some coffee grounds in the smelly room and the odor will be removed. If the drain smells unpleasant, simply flush the pipe with some coffee grounds; that can also help to alleviate the odor.

Cinnamon

In the kitchen, cinnamon can also conjure up a wonderful scent: Stir cinnamon into water and let it boil. This creates a wonderful aroma.

Activated or charcoal

Charcoal absorbs odors and can remove bad smells in rooms. Charcoal can also remove annoying cheese odors in the refrigerator. Simply place some charcoal in an open bowl in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, the refrigerator will no longer smell as strong.

Cat litter

Cat litter absorbs odors wonderfully and can therefore also help with smelly rooms. Simply place some in the affected room.
