Kettle

Kettle* almost everyone uses one: To heat up water for tea or for hot soups, for example. Depending on the hardness of the water, kettles can quickly become calcified, which leads to a reduction in heating performance.
So it means: Descaling. There are two good ways to do this:

Descaling a kettle

Cleaning with vinegar

Fill the kettle with equal parts vinegar and water. Then let it soak for a few hours, and finally rinse it out several times with clean water.

Cleaning with citric acid

It's faster with citric acid. First, just rinse the kettle with water so that it is damp, then add 2 tablespoons of citric acid. If it foams after a while, you were successful and the limescale is decomposing. Don't forget to rinse it out at the end here too.

If the kettle is already broken, we can recommend buying a new kettle at Amazon.
