For descaling coffee machines, people usually reach for so-called "chemical bombs". To descale in a more environmentally friendly way, we have a simple household tip here:
Descaling coffee machines with household remedies
Citric acid
To descale your coffee machine, you can use Citric acid. Mix a solution of one part citric acid and 3 parts water, let half of the water run through, switch it off for half an hour, and then let the second half run through. Once this is done, perform about three cycles with clear water.
Vinegar
Mix 1 cup of vinegar essence with 2 cups of water and fill the liquid into the water tank of your coffee machine. Switch the device on and let about half run through. Then switch off the device and let it soak for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, run several cycles with clear water.
