Turkey a la Pesto and baby food

I found this recipe in a baby cookbook and modified it a little. Our children still love it and we just call it "the meat with baby food". It uses a jar of Hipp early carrots. It is really tasty and very quick to prepare, why not give it a try:

Turkey à la Pesto and Baby Food Recipe – a meal for children

Extra tip:Also tastes good with salmon fillet

Variation:If you don't like sliced meat, you can also make the meat as a roast. Preheat the oven to 100 °C. For this, rub, for example, 800 g of turkey breast in one piece all over with salt, pepper, and paprika powder (sweet). Briefly sear the turkey all over in a pan with 2 tbsp of oil, remove, and let cool. Now mix the pesto with the tomato paste and spread 1/3 of the mixture on the roast. Place the roast in an open dish and cook at 100 °C for approx. 3 hours. For the sauce, roast the remaining pesto mix in a pot, deglaze with the early carrots and the broth, and let it reduce a little. Finally, add a dash of soy sauce and the sour cream. Slice the roast into thin slices and serve together with the sauce.

Rice with peas and carrots goes very well with this.
