I've tried something new again, namely bulgur patties. These are made quite quickly and don't need many complicated ingredients. A refreshing sauce with yogurt and crunchy vegetables goes well with them.

Preparation
Bring 250 ml of water to a boil in a pot, add the bulgur, and let it soak for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion, peel the garlic as well, and press it through a garlic press.
Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until golden yellow. Season with cumin, salt, and pepper, then set aside.
Mix the bulgur with the eggs, onion, garlic, and breadcrumbs, and season again to taste.
With damp hands, form small, flat patties. Add the remaining oil to the pan and heat it up, then fry the patties gradually until they are crispy and golden brown on both sides.
Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into pieces, mix the yogurt with the mint, and the meal is ready.
Tips & Notes
Unfortunately it splatters quite a bit, so always put a lid on the pan.
