The Caipirinha is a Brazilian cocktail that also enjoys great popularity in this country. It is not that difficult to prepare and can also be served at home. Here is the recipe:

Extra tip:Actually, in Brazil, brown coarse sugar is not used, but rather a white, usually finely ground cane sugar. This, of course, dissolves much better.

Preparation
First wash the lime and cut it into small pieces.
Put the lime pieces into a cocktail glass and press them well with a wooden muddler.
Now add the cane sugar and continue pressing with the wooden muddler so the sugar dissolves well.
Now add the crushed ice to the glass and top up with the Cachaca.
Stir the cocktail and serve with a straw, a lime slice, and mint as garnish.
