I still had some strudel dough in the freezer and was wondering what I could do with it. Since I was in the mood for something savory, I decided on a meat strudel. This one is made with minced meat, vegetables, and tomato paste, and it's really good and also quick to make. Here is my recipe:

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180° C with top and bottom heat.
Fry the minced meat in oil in a pan until it is nicely browned.
Peel and finely chop the onion, and also peel and finely chop the garlic.
Add both to the meat and fry together for a while.
Cook the frozen vegetables according to the package instructions until soft, drain, and add to the meat.
Season everything with tomato paste and spices.
Unroll the strudel pastry on a baking sheet and place the vegetable-meat mixture lengthwise in the middle.
Sprinkle the whole thing with the grated cheese.
Roll up the strudel, brush with the beaten egg, and bake in the oven at 180° C (top and bottom heat) for about 35 to 40 minutes.
