We really enjoy bowls – there is now a wide selection. For dinner my daughter chose a very good peanut-chicken bowl. It tastes really good and is easy to make.

Ingredients
Bowl
Peanut sauce
Preparation
Cook rice according to package instructions, set aside.
Cut broccoli into florets and cook in simmering water for 4–5 minutes until al dente. Set aside.
Briefly cook edamame in boiling water, set aside.
Wash carrots and grate into fine strips. Set aside.
Rinse the chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika powder and fry in a pan with a little oil.
Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a bowl, gradually add the hot water until the sauce is creamy. Optionally add a little sesame oil.
Now assemble the bowl: first put the rice as a base in a deep plate, then arrange edamame, broccoli, cucumbers, and carrots around the edges. Place the chicken in the middle.
Pour the peanut sauce over everything.
Top with the spring onion, sesame, and chopped peanuts.
Tips & Notes
Extra tip: keep the sauce on the thicker side, don't add too much soy sauce. That way it tastes more like peanut.
