Preparation
Warm the milk in a pot and add the oats.
Bring the mixture briefly to a boil and let it simmer for about two minutes, stirring constantly.
Clean the berries, purée them finely and pass them through a sieve.
This keeps the seeds out, so only the sweet pulp goes into the homemade berry puree.
Now fold the purée into the milk and serve it to the little gourmet.
If it needs to be even quicker, ready-made fruit purée from a jar can also be mixed into the oats.
However, parents must ensure that no sugar, other additives, or flavorings have been added to the strained fruit.
Babies can safely consume cow's milk and therefore also the delicious berry porridge from the sixth month of life, unless there is a food intolerance.
