For a special meal, I was looking for a kind of roast that had to be vegan, and yes, it had to taste good, especially to the children. Once again, I did a lot of research and found what I was looking for on the wonderful internet. It was to be a vegan lentil roast. The ingredients were quite reasonable, as was the effort. So, on a Sunday, I set out to try this roast. And I was rewarded; the whole family liked it, yes, even the children. The consistency and taste are really good, and my husband was full of praise for the good ingredients. You definitely have to try this out:
The lentil roast is best served with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. If you like, you can also serve it with gravy.
I am honestly surprised at how good this recipe tastes. Here, too, I was very surprised that even the children ate it willingly, even after I told Mark that it contained mushrooms (which he actually doesn't like). The roast is excellent for special occasions, such as Christmas.
