Ingredients
Preparation
Remove the pomegranate seeds and blend them with the pomegranate juice.
Pass this juice through a fine sieve and collect it in a pot. That should yield about 600 ml.
Bring the juice, water, lemon juice and sugar to a vigorous boil for about 5 minutes, until all the sugar has dissolved.
Turn off the heat, stir in the gelatin and let it dissolve.
While still hot, pour the gummy syrup into ice cube molds or about 1 cm high into a baking dish and chill in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.
Then carefully remove from the mold. If a baking dish was used, carefully cut the mixture into smaller squares or rectangles.
Tips & Notes
Shelf life: In the refrigerator, the sealed gummies will keep for up to 6 weeks.
Usage: For nibbling or as an occasional snack, with cheese, after sports, or instead of other sweets.
