Colorful muffins – they just look special. I admit, I only came up with this because of my daughter, as she watched baking videos on a video channel very often where the batter is colored over and over again. So it didn't take long before she came to me and said she wanted to try it too.
Yes, and today we finally tried it: rainbow muffins. Here we have the recipe and photos of our work:

Anyone who wants to can now decorate these muffins accordingly.
Ideas for decorations
Colorful sprinkles or chocolate
Here you can use colorful sprinkles or sugar pearls. If you like, you can also decorate the muffins with chocolate drizzles (melt couverture and fill into a piping bag or a freezer bag and cut off a small corner).

Conclusion
Our muffins turned out a little small because we somehow didn't have enough batter. In terms of color, we think the muffins look very good and bring color to the afternoon table.
Baking was fun, my daughter especially liked mixing the colors together. (She started dividing the colors into the molds and then said it was too exhausting ? – so plan for the young pastry chefs to lose interest).
I think these rainbow muffins are ideal for carnival parties or children's birthdays where something special should be served. Children like it colorful and this recipe is just right.
