We don't just have cookies at Christmas. Here I have a recipe that we bake all year round: Vanilla cookies or chocolate chip cookies. They are sooooo good, it's best to make a double batch, they always disappear very quickly at our house:

Preheat the oven to 190°C (374°F) top and bottom heat, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat the butter, the sugar, the eggs and the vanilla with a hand mixer.
Now add the flour mixture and mix everything well so that a nice dough forms.
Finally, add the chocolate chips and carefully mix them in with a spatula.
Now form small balls and place them on the baking sheet - Warning: the cookies spread a little.
Bake in the oven at 190°C top and bottom heat for approx. 12 to 15 minutes.
The cookies are slightly browned on the underside.
